Studio Ramirez is a Miami-based, international design studio headed by creative director, Ruby Ramirez. Defining a new era of luxury interiors, Studio Ramirez is the fresh iteration of a 20+ year history in interior design. The studio’s growing portfolio is a tribute to our ability to overcome diverse design challenges with poignant scheme solutions.

Our ever-expanding scope of work which includes; residential interior design, interior architecture, hospitality interior design, hospitality programming and FF&E design. Our goal as a firm is to create lasting interiors that evoke the senses while creating memorable experiences.

Our tagline “Not The Miami You Think It Is” may best sum-up our thoughtful aesthetic, the likely anthesis to the “shiny white, shiny, shiny” stereotype. What sets Studio Ramirez apart is their international design exposure and perpetual curiosity to find new and unique makers and artisans across the globe. We prefer to go the extra length, curating unseen pieces for our client’s environments. With our shop-the-globe ethos . . . this is often where the magic happens. Clients experience the journey and develop a direct relationship with finding amazing furniture, fabrics and rugs for their home. Our residential projects are uniquely layered and reflect a thoughtfully curated home. Studio Ramirez clients are often repeat clients which makes the narrative even more interesting the second or third time around.

Ruby Ramirez, the Creative Director behind Studio Ramirez, embodies international sensibilities which are the deep roots to her foundation. Born and raised in the Philippines, she credits a rich Southeast Asian heritage for her acute design aesthetic, perpetual curiosity, and ardent work ethic.

Early in her career, she lived and worked in the London office of Philippe Starck's famed YOO design firm. She had an all-encompassing introduction on the International playing field as Senior Designer under Philippe Starck. While at YOO, she also worked alongside other legendary talents; Marcel Wanders, Kelly Hoppen, Jade Jagger designing and traveling to YOO's marquee projects in Miami, Mexico, Argentina, Istanbul, Moscow, India, Thailand, and Vienna.

After a successful tenure in London at YOO, she returned to Miami to form a design partnership with a colleague, Alison Antrobus. Together the partnership emerged as ANTROBUS + RAMIREZ in 2011 where they built an international design studio with an "under-the-radar" ethos. The firm grew an impressive roster of private residences, recognizable commercial buildings, and launched a fine rug collection in Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, and Chicago.

In 2020, after a successful partnership, Ruby formed Studio Ramirez to focus her creative path and brushstroke on Commercial, Hospitality, and Restaurant Interiors. Ruby is currently the Lead Designer on Miami's upcoming Virgin Hotel with the same credits for various Property Markets Group (PMG) Commercial projects; MUSE, ECHO Brickell, and X Miami.

On a playful yet personal note, Ruby is a dedicated foodie! She and her Dutch husband have booked entire trips around some notable restaurant in a distant, far-flung country. No stranger to travel, this kind of constant curiosity, and desire to "know more, see more" is exactly what this creative brings to all of her projects.
