Living Room Theatre

Dinner and a movie is still the classic ploy for a couple looking to get away for an evening, and Studio Ramirez brought that timeless duo to the Miami Design District with the “Living Room Theater” as the first outpost in Miami. Playing on the classic American Diner nostalgia with a modern twist, the design team added the staple plush, red booths and counter seating alongside a sophisticated exposed kitchen and bar.

The use of rounded edges throughout the architecture softens the space and gives the room height and added grandeur. Intentional patterns and gold accents add a fun narrative to the modernized classic diner.

The connected theater highlights a masculine palette with rustic and antique finishes. Darker colors emanate a moody element that gives the room a luxurious and comforting warmth. Strategic seating paired with ambient lighting from the floor and wall sconces makes the perfect combo to a delicious atmosphere.
